Small but Mighty: Brilliantly Brave Named One of the SmallBiz100 for 2025
Drumroll (and perhaps a polite dinosaur roar)...we’ve officially been named one of the SmallBiz100 for 2025!
From a kitchen table in Moray to a national spotlight, Brilliantly Brave is proud to be one of just 100 small businesses chosen from over 5.4 million across the UK, proof that big impact doesn’t need a big office.
What it means
Each year, Small Business Saturday UK and Small Business Britain celebrate 100 remarkable small businesses doing good with purpose. The chosen few get a national feature day, a flurry of love from press and partners, and a platform to show how small can be mighty.
For us, it’s another pinch-me moment, and recognition that a business born in rural Scotland can make a national noise while keeping its feet (and kettle) firmly on Moray soil.
Our own day in November
As part of the campaign, we’ll have our very own feature day this November, sharing how we turn design into direct mental-health funding, one card, one course, one conversation at a time.
And there’s more. #TheTour2025 roadshow is rolling into Moray! We’re hoping to team up with another brilliant garden-based business (announcement soon) to host a local celebration filled with cake, caffeine, community spirit, and a healthy dose of small-business pride.
Why it matters
When we launched in 2024, our goal was simple: prove that business can be beautiful and brave, that creativity can quietly fund care. Every card we sell helps train Mental Health First Aiders, fund peer-support groups, and keep free wellbeing sessions running across Scotland.
Being named part of the SmallBiz100 shines a national light on that model, on rural innovation, social enterprise, and kindness that scales. It’s recognition not just for us, but for every small business juggling stock, spreadsheets and all the other small business pressures while trying to make a difference.
Flying the flag for Moray
We’re honoured to represent Moray and rural Scotland in this year’s line-up. Because small-business brilliance doesn’t all live in London postcodes. Moray is packed with creative, resilient, community-led ventures, from makers to bakers to mental-health trailblazers, and we’re proud to fly the flag for them all.
Thank you
Huge thanks to Small Business Saturday UK and Small Business Britain for championing businesses that lead with heart.
And thank you to everyone who’s bought a card, stocked our ranges, or simply believed that kindness could be a business plan.
Small but mighty. Brave and biscuit-crumbed. And now, officially, one of the #SmallBiz100.
Here’s to November, to Moray, and to every small business proving that creativity can fund care. Beautifully.
