Our PG Live Debut...and a 4am Start!

Ever tried packing an entire trade show stand into one suitcase? At 3am on a Monday morning in Moray, that's exactly what we found ourselves doing. With the dogs bundled off to their holiday home and a flight to catch from Inverness, our first PG Live adventure was underway...
The 500-mile journey from Moray to London's Business Design Centre was a proper mission - though thankfully we opted for planes over The Proclaimers' preferred method of transport! By some miracle, our carefully packed suitcase made it through multiple transfers with our display intact.
We were here, in one of the industry's biggest trade shows, ready to introduce our purpose-driven cards to a national audience. There's something quite surreal about transforming a small patch of space in Springboard into a little piece of Moray, complete with our purchase with purpose mission.
What followed were two intense days of conversations, connections and genuine interest in our mission to transform greeting card sales into mental health support. The response to our model of channelling 100% of profits into community initiatives resonated more strongly than we'd dared hope.
The retailers immediately got what we're trying to do. They saw the potential of offering their customers cards that make a real difference - not just to the recipient, but to someone in their community who might never know about it.
Major thanks to our fellow Springboard exhibitors who made those long days fly by - Pear Tree Press, Washed Up Cards, Bare-cards, Little Roglets and the rest of the crew. The camaraderie up there was something special.
Was it worth the 4am start and complex logistics of getting a trade stand from the north of Scotland to London? Absolutely. Would we do it again? Already planning for next year - though maybe with a slightly bigger suitcase.
