Our Blooms Hit Harrogate Home & Gift: Brilliantly Brave x Opticaid
Home & Gift Harrogate is back. The sunniest, schmooziest trade show on the calendar. Part exhibition, part garden party, part endurance event. Some of it’s literally in a tent. Think Glastonbury with more notebooks, fewer wellies, and prosecco by the gallon.
We’re not there in person this year (#dayjobs), but thanks to the magical wizardry of licensing, our "stuff" is.
Meet the Blooms
We’re genuinely chuffed to unveil our first licensed accessories with the speccy Yorkshire legends at Opticaid Eyewear: a new range of RFID-blocking aluminium wallets made from recycled materials and powered by our Benevolent Blooms prints. Eight designs in total, each dialled somewhere between ditsy and defiantly bold. They’re colourful, tactile and tough enough to survive life in a handbag. Proof that practical things can still be joyful things.
Because this is Brilliantly Brave, every sale helps fund mental-health initiatives in the community, floral pattern power turned into people power.
Our first licensed accessories
This launch means a lot. Licensing lets our designs travel further and do more good without us having to physically be everywhere (being up in the north of Scotland makes just about road trip epic). Opticaid have been dream partners, absolute pros who know their bifocals from their botanical motifs. They’ve taken our Benevolent Blooms and turned it into something properly useful: eco-conscious accessories that protect your cards, your data and your dignity when you’re paying for yet another flat white.
It’s also a milestone. These wallets are the first non-paper Brilliantly Brave product to reach retail shelves, proof that our “creativity funds care” model can grow beyond greeting cards.

Say hello to Gill and the Opticaid team: they’re knowledgeable, kind and very good company if you care about eyewear, eco-design or general northern niceness. You’ll spot our blooms easily; they’re the ones looking suspiciously cheerful under the marquee lights.

Wallets that fund wellbeing
Like everything we make, these aren’t just pretty products. They’re part of our mission to fund free, local mental-health support in Scotland, from one-to-one coaching to peer-support groups and Mental Health First Aid training. Every licensed product keeps that promise intact: 100 per cent of our profit share goes straight back into community wellbeing. So even though these wallets are shining hundreds of miles away in Harrogate, their impact is felt right here at home in Moray.
