Brilliantly Brave...Finalist at The Henries Awards!
When Stuart and I first sketched out our vision for Brilliantly Brave at the kitchen table in Moray, we dared to dream big. But never in our wildest imagination did we expect to find ourselves competing alongside industry giants at the Henries Awards just six months later. Yet here we are, with not just one but six nominations at what's affectionately known as the 'Oscars of the greeting card industry'.
I have to keep pinching myself when I look at the numbers. Over 300 publishers submitted more than 2,000 designs this year, making the competition fiercer than ever. For our little Scottish publisher to break through with six nominations across five categories feels nothing short of miraculous.
Our 'Gratitude Galore' range has made it to the final six in the hotly contested 'Best Contemporary Trend' category, making us the only Scottish finalist amongst the industry heavyweights. But what makes me even prouder is the breadth of our nominations:

As Stuart put it when we got the news: "To go from our kitchen table in Moray to the finals of the Henries in just over six months is mind-blowing. It's a testament to the power of purpose-driven design and the incredible support we've received from our local community right here in Moray and the greetings community across the UK."
But what makes these nominations truly special isn't just the recognition of our designs - it's validation of our core mission. Every Brilliantly Brave card sold helps fund vital mental health initiatives in our community. The judging panel for the Henries includes buyers from the UK's leading retailers, making this early validation particularly meaningful. It shows that our commitment to channelling 100% of profits into local mental health initiatives isn't just good for our community - it's good business too.
Looking ahead, these nominations feel like just the beginning. They've energised us to push even harder, dream even bigger, and create even more impactful designs that make a real difference in people's lives.
